Well, if I can get Sodium to work with Scala.js, then I might put that into https://github.com/jhegedus42/irie , which runs on React.
Let's see... either monix or Sodium. I'd prefer Sodium, if I can get the memory leak issues ironed out (if there are any ... I cannot even tell). If I remember correctly Stephen said something about memory leak issues with Scala.js and Sodium.
@the-real-blackh , what do you think ?
I did some experiments : http://sodium.nz/t/sodium-seems-to-work-with-scala-js/439
Do you think Sodium will have memory leak issues with Scala.js ?
Preliminary tests seem to be OK, to me, not really sure though. On the first glance Sodium seems to work
fine with Scala.js - but I cannot really tell.
@the-real-blackh what do you think ?
Is it possible to make that Sodium-Scala code work with Scala.js ?
No big rush, but monix is overly complicated ( the alternative, which works well with Scala.js ) - IMHO.
Sodium might be better suited for learning how to use FRP for web pages / SPAs - since there is also a
decent book that actually teaches FRP - what switch is, etc ... - I don't think people will get very far without
that book - and there is no such book for monix.
