FRP + React, why is it not happening?

There is Redux for React, which, to my understanding is a first order FRP (there is no flatten/join :: Behaviour Behaviour c -> Behaviour c ).

I wonder however if higher order FRP would be useful with React ? If yes, how ? Any opinions ?

There's a Javascript version of Sodium now, so there's another option.

FRP and React is a constant struggle with the nature of React, from experience.

edit: not to say it is not happening. Redux and Mobx already implement some higher order observable concepts, so in regards to what Andre Staltz was saying this January in this post - came to life partially, as they made up their minds and adopt observables thoroughly, just as Angular2 is doing now.

I added a tiny library on github to bridge Sodium and FRP, plus a demo.

Both are work in progress, and I really should add some easy to use controls like checkbox, button, etc...

Nevertheless, it's a start. I never really used Sodium before, so I'm not sure if this is the "right" approach.
