Hi all,
I'd like to bring your attention to a little pet project of mine where I explore different technologies, including Roslyn, AvalonEdit, Elm, and of course Sodium. Not sure yet which direction this will go to, but I hope it will still be fun for Sodium enthusiasts.
The code is hosted on github, as part of my SodiumSamples repo: https://github.com/RobertWalter83/SodiumSamples/tree/master/LiveScripting
What it currently does is it uses Sodium to interact with a little WPF app. The app is split and gives you a text editor to the left side, and a "live screen" to the right.
The idea is that you can write C# scripts in the editor to the left and see the result in the canvas to the right, pretty similar to what Bret Victor suggests, for example in his talk "Inventing on Principle", or what Elm does in its examples pages: http://elm-lang.org/examples/
Naturally, my app is far from what the mentioned inspirations can do / demoed, but the motivation for me is more to get into the "FRP mind mode", while exploring ideas that are interesting to me. Having said that, you might want to check out the ReadMe, where I describe some of the apps current capabilities. (I cannot link to more than two pages, so I hope you find the ReadMe in my repo mentioned above by yourself )
I welcome any feedback, and I hope that this place becomes a lively user group!
