EDIT: just read more of the book... to anyone else coming here for the first time, do that first!! Really! For example, there's this line: "You never say, “And now, the code will push this value.” Banish such thoughts from your mind." hehehe
Cool, thanks! I watched one of your youtube talks and I'm buying the e-book today - will start playing around
One of my questions, which I guess will be answered in the book, is how do you propogate changes back up to the streams - or is that something which is purposefully to be avoided?
One of the problems I had playing with React was the constant need to "lift state" when two things affect eachother. It made the end result better but there was too much refactoring going on for my taste.
Imagine, for example, a switch that changes the color settings, and then a button that draws something in that color
How do we get the switch to affect the button/color when everything is coming down the pipeline in one direction?
Lastly - I'm also looking at mostjs for stream stuff... can you elaborate a bit on the difference between most and sodium?
I'm pretty new to all this... coming from many years doing imperative/oop stuff
Thanks!!!
